Hunt goes on for buyer for Boston Clinton Cards as branch is not snapped up

BOSTON’S Clinton Cards store has not been snapped up as part of a sell-off of the business.

The greetings card retailer went into administration last month, leaving the Pescod Square branch at risk.

Today administrator Zolfo Cooper has announced it has concluded the sale of Clinton to Lakeshore Lending Limited, a subsidiary of American Greetings Corporation.

The Boston store will not be taken on by the owner and, for now, remains under the control of the administrator.
