Last day of trading for town’s HMV store
HMV store, Boston.
Boston’s HMV store will close its doors for the last time today, as the store shuts for good.
The Pescod Square store is one of 66 shops the chain is shutting nationwide, following the company’s slide into administration earlier this year.
The decision was made as the shop was considered to be ‘loss-making’.
A sale has been underway at the store since the closure was first announced six weeks ago, and will continue until the end of the day.
