SPEED dating has become all the rage for people looking to boost their love lives, but now businesses can get in on the act as well, with a speed networking event due to take place in the town next week.

Boston Business Club, Boston Borough Council and Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to organise a breakfast speed networking event at the White Hart in Boston on Thursday, November 26.

It will offer businesses a platform for creating and developing contacts and opportunities, based on referrals and introductions.

The networking event, which follows on from the success of other similar meetings, will run from 7.30am until 9.30am, and will cost £10 plus VAT, including full English breakfast, tea, coffee and orange juice.

To book a place, contact Rachel Mooney at the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, on 08445 555220, email rachel.mooney@lincs-chamber.co.uk or visit www.lincs-chamber.co.uk/events/upcoming-events.htm.

Other events taking place as part of Boston Enterprise Week include a Dragon’s Den event today (Wednesday) at Boston Conference and Management Centre, in Skirbeck Road, and Junior Chamber International will hold a LinkedIn training session today as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

The event will cost £5 for non-members and will take place at 7pm at Duncan and Toplis, Resolution Close, Endeavour Park, Boston.
