Staff at a leading UK recycling business based in Boston are celebrating after scooping an honour at a national awards ceremony.

The Recycling Factory, in Marsh Lane, picked up the accolade in the 2015 UK Corporate Excellence Awards held by monthly magazine Corporate Vision.

In the words of organisers, the awards ‘focus on firms and individuals across the British Isles, regardless of size, age, specialism or value, that are not just successful but undoubtedly and demonstrably special’.

The Recycling Factory, a leading UK recycler of inkjet and toner cartridges, was named as winners in the category for Sustained Excellence in Inkjet and Toner
Recycling.

Cassandra Gonzalez, department manager for the business, said: “It is fantastic to have won an award like this and to have been recognised for our efforts in recycling.

“We know that inkjet and toner recycling is not always as well known in comparison with other industries, and so it is even more rewarding that other people can see the hard work that goes into what we do.

“We also pride ourselves on our service, our charitable partnerships, which have now raised more than £3.6 million, and our green credentials. It’s important to know that we are doing the right thing when it comes to protecting our environment.”

The Recycling Factory is a division of Dynamic Cassette International.

The company has been in operation since 2005 collecting millions of inkjet and toner cartridges from across the UK.

It encourages businesses, schools, charities and individuals to recycle their used inkjet and toner cartridges and operates free recycling schemes across the UK.

It collects all cartridges at their site in Boston, Lincolnshire, and operates a zero landfill policy.
