A Boston-based inkjet and toner remanufacturer has announced a partnership with an historic UK independent retailer.
Jet Tec, a division of DCI (Dynamic Cassette International), has teamed up with Norwich-based firm Jarrold.
Jarrold was founded in 1770 and has twice taken the award for UK Independent Department Store of the Year.
As an official Jet Tec reseller, it will be selling remanufactured inkjet and toner products at its art supplies and office stationery shop in Norwich city centre.
Jennifer Read, retail buyer for Jarrold, said: “We are excited about embarking upon this partnership with Jet Tec; it is something completely new for us and we are looking forward to launching the new remanufactured ink and toner products to new and existing customers.”
Jet Tec currently works alongside thousands of resellers across the UK, and in recent months unveiled a new website as well as several product launches.
“It is continually looking to develop its customer base and brand and is thrilled to have joined forces with Jarrold.
Becky Capes, business development executive, for Jet Tec added: “As a British based (re)manufacturer, we are proud to be working in partnership alongside a stationer who has such a strong history of being an independent British retailer; we are confident that it will be a successful relationship.”
DCI was incorporated in 1983 originally producing typewriter parts.
In 1989, DCI achieved the Queen’s Award for Export and Achievement
In 1996, the Jet Tec brand was launched, with Jet Tec Germany opening the following year.
Jet Tec’s product lines include remanufactured HP, Dell, Canon, Brother, Epson, Kyocera, Lexmark and Samsung cartridges.
