Pipeline on the way

WORK has started on a pipeline which will keep Boston supplied with fresh water for years to come.

Anglian Water has begun efforts to provide the £40 million pipe at Covenham Reservior, near Louth and the 43km pipe will arrive in Boston next year.

When complete it will be able to carry 26 million litres of water a day to this area, helping to deal with the needs of Boston’s growing population.
