Ringrose Law has facilitated more than £1.5m’s worth of gifts to Cancer Research UK in the last five years from people choosing to support the charity through their wills.

Cancer Research UK works with a number of local solicitors to offer a free will service to anyone aged 55 or over. While it is provided free of any obligation, the vast majority of people choose to leave a gift to the charity, says Cancer Research UK legacy partnership manager for the North Alexis Fairclough.

“They appreciate the progress we are making and our absolute determination to keep more families together for longer,” Alexis added.

To recognise its support, Cancer Research UK presented the Boston branch of Ringrose Law, in Gilbert Drive, with a certificate.

Lyn Townsend, from Ringrose, who says she owes her life to Cancer Research UK, said the business was ‘really proud’ to receive the award, describing the charity as ‘truly inspiring’.
