Spot on '˜most influential' list for Boston firm's MD

Kieron Alsop, of Rolec, was placed 42nd in GreenFleet magazine’s recent 100 Most Influential list.

The rundown was compiled to mark the 100th issue of GreenFleet, which describes itself as ‘the only fleet publication dedicated to promoting a cleaner environment’.

It spotlights the people that during the magazine’s lifetime have shaped the low-carbon fleet industry.

Against Mr Alsop’s entry in the list, GreenFleet notes Rolec EV (part of Rolec) has launched a new range of public-facing electric vehicle EV charging points incorporated within energy efficient street lighting columns, as well as a range of Smart Tech EV charging points designed specifically for the home.

Mr Alsop said he was ‘delighted’ with the recognition, describing it as ‘a very strong acknowledgement by the global EV industry that Rolec is playing a leading role as a top manufacturer and innovator of electric vehicle charging products’.
