Patrons at cafés around Boston were surprised to see Fanny Cradock popping up to give them a course in cookery.
The famous cook and writer and her husband Johnnie, played by performers from Converse Theatre, appeared randomly at Milly Molly Cakes, Oldrids restaurant and smoothy bars and Black Sluice Cafe.
She showed people how to make a beetroot and creme de menthe flummery.
The fun shows were part of the Tansported Project which aims to get people in Boston and South Holland enjoying and participating in arts activities.
The video above shows some of the show at the Black Sluice Cafe.
