WOODLANDS Organic Farm in Kirton opened its gates to the public (yesterday) Sunday.
Visitors were treated to a whole host of attractions, including stalls, food tent and tractor rides.
There was also the chance to meet some of the farm’s inhabitants, such as the curly coat pigs, turkeys and Lincoln red cattle.
And for the first time, the farm had an earth oven, cooking some of the delicious meats reared on site.
Here farm owner Andrew Dennis explains more about what was going on and of his delight that more people were ‘warming’ to organic produce.
