Caravan fire caused by ‘disused barbecue’

A caravan fire in Boston yesterday (Tuesday) was caused by a disused barbecue, according to fire officials.

Crews from Boston and Leverton attended the blaze on Sleaford Road, at the corner to Brothertoft Road at 10.55am.

A spokesman for the service said the blaze was caused by a disused barbecue, which caused severe damage by fire to the caravan.
