THE RSPCA says it is at ‘crisis point’ due to a large number of all black and black and white cats needing homes.
After a worse than expected rehoming year in 2011, the Lincolnshire East branch, which covers Boston, is currently running at capacity and has a waiting list of cats to come in to its care.
Of the 29 felines in the branch’s care, 21 are either black or black and white.
Some have been looking for a home for more than a year, including Sooty (pictured) and the branch fears it will not be able to take any more cats in until some of these are rehomed.
If you are interested in rehoming a cat, call the branch on 01205 319 059 or email at email@example.com.
