An event will be held in Boston for people to have their say on a ‘marine plan’ for the coast from Flamborough Head to Felixstowe.

A drop-in session will be put on at the Black Sluice Centre on August 1 from 10am to 8pm by Marine Management Organisation to explore the plans, which will look at protecting the environment, industry and leisure uses of the seas.

Paul Gilliland, MMO’s Head of Marine Planning, said: “Our seas are facing unprecedented and competing demands, so this is an ideal time for marine planning to begin in these areas, to help meet that challenge in a way that provides for people, industry and wildlife.”
