Residents of Boston are being invited to look at and comment on plans for how to spend £1 million of lottery money with a series of events this month.
Boston Big Local is holding the events to allow people to view the plans which will take place between 2015-17.
The events are set to take place on Wednesday, February 18, at 11am-12.30pm at the Blenkin Memorial Hall and 2pm-3.30pm at the Black Sluice Lock Cottages on London Road.
They will be followed by two further events on Thursday, 4-5.30pm at the Len Medlock Centre, and 6.30-8pm at the
Black Sluice Lock
Cottages.
Boston Big Local is one of 150 areas that have been awarded £1 million to make a difference to its local community.

The funding is planned to last 10 years however the plan being put forward at the meetings is for two years with the group saying it will be reviewed annually.

This is to bring it in line with the Big Local ethos and the group’s guiding principles and
values.
