This year sees Boston Classic Car Club celebrating its 25th birthday.

It was back in 1990 when a group of like-minded enthusiasts placed an advert in the Lincolnshire Standard, calling for fellow lovers of timeless motors to get in touch.

And since then the club has gone from strength to strength - with more than 250 members.

This year the club will host a series of events to commemorate its birthday, which includes the highly-popular Classic Car Show at Graves Park, Kirton.

This year’s show will be held on August 9.

The club -which has raised more than £20,000 for charity over the years and is looking to recruit more younger members - holds regular social events, meeting up at the Graves Park Social Club every third Tuesday in the month.
