The former figurehead of Boston’s Big Local group will return to her paid position after a meeting to get the £1 million Lottery group back on track.
A report published after a meeting of the ‘group of residents who have had consistent involvement’ revealed Rachel Lauberts will return to the position as facilitator that she previously quit.
Ivan Annibal, the Boston Big Local representative at the centre of complaints by members of the group, has chosen not to renew his contract and will be replaced temporarily by Bill Badham.
A steering group, with Ralph Pryke as chairman, has also been formed to take decisions on how things are run.
The steering group will review progress and has given priority to increasing awareness of the £1 million scheme.
The report said it is hoping to have a ‘profile’ of the town complete by August, and a final Big Local plan by the end of January 2015.
The next meeting will be tomorrow (Thursday) at 6.30pm at the Black Sluice Lock Cottages.
