Expert judges from the Royal Horticultural Society will be assessing Boston’s In Bloom bid in a tour of the town on Friday.
The in bloom partnership is hoping to improve on last year’s ‘silver’ grade.
The judges will begin at the Geoff Moulder Leisure Complex and then be transported to the top of Rowley Road to walk along John Adams Way and into Fydell House and then Beadsmans Lane before crossing to Custom House Quay.
They will walk to the town bridge, observe the new St Botolph’s footbridge, the White Hart Garden and freshly decorated Assembly Rooms before walking through the Market Place to the knot garden in the grounds of the Stump. They will take in the Ingram Memorial before going along Petticoat Lane into Pescod Square, Wide Bargate and the Memorial Gardens before heading to Boston West Academy via John Adams Way.
