Sibsey Parish Council has said it is ‘disappointed’ at the removal of certain stones from Northlands Bridge for repair.

The work was reported at the January meeting where it was decided that the clerk would write to Lincolnshire County Council to express the feelings of the council regarding the ancient bridge and ask that it be restored.

Also at the meeting it was agreed that to support the East Lindsey Draft Core Strategy 2012 and Housing Strategy 2013-18 Option 2.

It was agreed that a planter could be placed on the grassed area near the shop at the corner of Frithville Road to deter vehicles from parking. The highways department has no objection and a licence will be required. Costs and insurance are to be researched. A grant may be available.

Sibsey Village Hall has an updated website and an arts and crafts fair will be held there in April.

The next meeting will take place on Tuesday at 7pm.
