Police appeal after elderly woman finds intruder in her bedroom

Police are appealing for information after a burglary which saw an elderly woman faint in shock at what had happened.

The burglary took place at a property on on Pulvertoft Lane in Boston.

Some time between 6am and 6.20am an elderly lady woke to find an offender in her bedroom searching through her belongings on April 9.

The lady, aged 75, screamed out in shock. The offender ran down the stairs and out of the property. It is not believed that anything was stolen during the incident, said police.

When officers arrived the victim fainted in shock as a result of the burglary, otherwise she was not physically injured and has been remarkably robust and strong in coping with the burglary.
