People unable to attend a special meeting of the borough council’s planning committee on the Quadrant next week will be able to watch the event live from their own homes.
Boston Borough Council will be webcasting the meeting live from its website on Tuesday in response to the ‘intense public interest in the proposals’.
Due to the response to the plans, which include a new stadium for Boston United, 500 houses and the start of a new distributor road, the meeting has already been moved from its usual location in Municipal Buildings to the Haven High Academy, Marian Road, Boston, in order to accommodate more people at the meeting itself.
However, spaces are still limited and are strictly first come, first served.
Changes to the planning meeting mean people on both sides of the fence have more time to address councillors.
The link to the live satellite broadcast will be available on the council’s website at www.boston.gov.uk – and the council said it will be clearly identified at the very top of the page.
There will be an opportunity for people to test the link tomorrow (Wednesday).
