Police have located a vulnerable Donington woman who went missing this morning.
Elsie Sills, 88, who suffers with dementia, has been found not far from her home.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “She is being checked out by ambulance staff but appears safe and well at this point.
“Thank you to everyone who tried to help or expressed their concern.”
12.20pm - Elsie Sills, 88, who suffers from dementia, was reported missing from her home in the Northorpe Road area this morning at 8.45am - but police say it is possible she left her house on Thursday evening.
Elsie is 5’4” tall, of stocky build and walks with a stoop. She has grey hair and wears glasses and is very hard of hearing.
A police helicopter is currently out scouring the Donington area.
She usually uses a mobility scooter when outside the house but she has not taken it with her.
