Council reveals date for public toilet closure

Notices will go up at the Assembly Rooms in Boston today to formally announce the closure of the public toilets.

The notices will tell the public that the loos will shut for good on Friday, November 16, at 6pm.

That is expected to be the day the contracts will be officially signed and exchanged with the new owners.

Boston Borough Council has refused to reveal the identity of the buyer of the landmark building and what its new use will be.
