Failure to comply

Christopher Herbert, 27, c/o Castlegate, Gipsey Bridge. Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order by failing to attend unpaid work on two dates, failing to provide an acceptable explanation to cover the absence and failing to contact offender manager. Order to continue, suspended sentence of 26 weeks suspended for 24 months varied to include 10 hours’ unpaid work added for the breach (210 hours total).

Theft

Scott Nathan Venables, 37, of Kingsway, Boston, stole a bike light of a value unknown belonging to another; at Boston, had with him, without good reason or lawful authority, in Red Lion Street, an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely a meat cleaver. Community order made, to include a six week curfew, £10 compensation, £60 victim surcharge, £180 criminal courts charge.

Tony Baker, 32, of Small End, Friskney. At Lumley Road, Skegness, stole a T-shirt to the value of £9.99 belonging to Alison’s Clothing Shop; at Skegness failed without reasonable excuse to surrender to custody at Skegness Magistrates’ Court; commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order for an offence of possessing a bladed article; commission of a further offence while subject to an order of conditional discharge for six months at Skegness Magistrates’ Court for an offence of criminal damage; commission of a further offence while subject to an order of conditional discharge for 12 months for an offence of drunk and disorderly; failed without reasonable excuse to comply with a community or a suspended sentence order made by Skegness Magistrates’ Court by failing to attend supervision on two dates, failing to provide an acceptable explanation and failing to maintain contact with offender manager. Community order made to include alcohol treatment for six months and rehabilitation activity for six days, £60 victim surcharge, £150 criminal courts charge, no action taken on breaches, suspended sentence for the offence of having a bladed article to continue, vaired to include five days compliance activity added for breach.

Michael Patton, 26, c/o Penny Gardens, Kirton. At Co-op Store, in Kirton, stole alcohol to the value of £12. Discharged conditionally for six months, £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge.

Assault

Valerij Ivanov, 42, of Castle Square, Wyberton West Road, Boston. At Boston, assaulted another by beating them; at Boston, without lawful excuse, damaged a mobile phone to the value of unknown belonging to another intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged. Community order made, to include rehabilitation activity for 20 days and 80 hours’ unpaid work, two lots of £100 compensation, £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge.

Drink-driving

Jason Wade, 19, of Armfield Close, Boston. Drove on Wainfleet Road, Skegness, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 45 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit 35). £180 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £150 criminal courts charge, disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Drunk and 
disorderly

Sergejs Borozdiis, 30, of Argyle Street, Boston. At Castle Street, Boston, was guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour; at the police station, Lincoln Lane, Boston, without lawful excuse damaged a cell wall by pealing off paint to the value unknown belonging to Lincolnshire Police intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged; commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order for an offence of driving while disqualified. Two £60 fines, £50 compensation, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, order to continue.

Gatis Jermacans, 27, of Woodville Road, Boston. At West Street, Boston, was guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour. £170 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge.

Criminal damage

Louis Rennoldson, 18, of Bateman Road, Croxley Green. At Swineshead, without lawful excuse, damaged the doors of a Ford Transit van to the value of £1,000, intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged. £100 fine, £100 compensation, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge.
