Firefighters were called out to tackle a chimney blaze at a home on Chain Bridge Road in Boston last night.

The fire was caused by a build up of wood resin, according to a spokesman for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, and it left an amount of wood severely damaged.

Nobody was hurt in the blaze.

Another crew, from Kirton, was also busy last night, as they were called out to a fire alarm at flats on Trinity Street, in Boston.

The alarm was set off by cooking fumes.
