Boston explosion due for case review

THE INVESTIGATION into an explosion in Boston which left five men killed and another seriously injured will be reviewed by the Crown Prosecution Service.

Police have submitted their file on the incident for a case review and a decision about whether further legal action will be taken is not expected to be made until the middle of January.

The explosion happened on July 13 and centred on an illegal vodka distillery.

The injured man, who suffered serious burns, has made slow but steady progress and has been well enough to leave hospital.
