Threats were made to a store owner during an attempted robbery this morning (Friday) say police.

An appeal for witnesses has been made after police said two men attempted to rob Ali’s Store on Freiston Road, shortly after 7am.

The men are described as tall, white and were wearing long coats, caps and sunglasses.

The spokesman said they made threats to the store owner before leaving in the direction of Burgess Pit.

It has not been confirmed if anything was taken during the incident.

Witnesses should contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting the incident number 54 of June 14.
