Cannabis plants seized in Sibsey

TWO cannabis grows have been uncovered in a house in Sibsey.

Police discovered the plants in a home on Amos Way, which they searched following the arrest of a 28-year-old man on suspicion of the possession of drugs, which took place in Skegness on Monday, August 29.

A force spokesman said eight small plants were discovered in an upstairs bedroom and a further five mature plants were found in a garden shed.

Officers also found a small amount of white powder, which has not yet been identified by the police.

The arrested man, who had not been named by police, has been granted police bail until a date in October pending further police enquiries and forensic analysis of the powder.
