Car dealerships and haulage yard targeted in thefts

A SERIES of thefts which took place on one night are being investigated by police.

Four separate incidents are being looked into in Kirton, Boston Bicker and Donington, and officers are now appealing to members of the public for help in discovering information.

The first incident took place at a motor dealership in Seadyke Road in Kirton, when diesel was taken from four vehicles.

The second was at a VW dealership in Marsh Lane, Boston, when alloy wheels were stolen from a number of cars.

The same night around 300 litres of diesel was taken from three lorries at a yard in Gauntlet Road, Bicker.

A further diesel theft also took place at a dealership in Station Street, in Donington, in which five vehicles were targeted.

All the thefts took place overnight between September 21 and 22, but police are unable to say whether or not they are connected.
