Concerns for South Parade speeders

CONCERNS have been raised over vehicles speeding along Boston’s South Parade.

A resident, who asked not to be named, contacted The Standard claiming pet cats and wild animals have been run over and killed along there.

“Several of my neighbours have lost their cats over the past year and only last week two ducks were killed,” he said.

“There’s really no excuse for it as it’s a long straight road, so they must have seen them. He added: “Whoever it is obviously has no regard for animals.”

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said they will treat South Parade as a ‘hotspot’ and look into new speed enforcement measures along the road.
