Here’s our latest register of cases heard at Boston and Skegness Magistrates’ Courts...

Theft

Simon Andrew Bisby, 41, of Carlton Road, Boston. At Boston, stole a quantity of cheese and meat to the value of £20 belonging to Lincolnshire Co-op Society; commission of a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence made for an offence of theft; commission of a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence for three thefts and possession of a class A drug; at Boston, stole hair clippers to the value of £50 belonging to Boots store; at Laughton Road, Boston, interfering with a motor vehicle or anything carried in or on the same with the intention that an offence of theft of said motor vehicle or part of it should be committed; at Laughton Road, without lawful excuse damaged a car window to the value unknown Committed to prison for a total length of 24 weeks, £20 compensation; two lots of £50 compensation.

Gary Peter Lowe, 30, of Donington Road, Kirton End. At Wilcox and Carter Jewellers, Wide Bargate, Boston, stole a bracelet to the value of £1,275. Community order made, to include a six month curfew, £1,275 compensation, £85 victim surcharge.

Drunk and 
disorderly

Aleksandrs Pasnikovs, 29, of Donington Road, Bicker. At Boston, at Asda, in Lister Way, was guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour. Discharged conditionally for 12 months, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs.

Thomas Lee Ladds, 30, of Edwin Street, Boston. At Market Place, Boston, was guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour. £110 fine, £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs.

Drink-driving

Salvis Skripka, 24, of Tooley Street, Boston. At Boston, drove on Staniland Road, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 50 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath; drove without insurance; drove without a licence. £300 fine, £50 fine, £85 costs, £30 victim surcharge, disqualified from driving for 38 months.

Arturs Savickis, 28, of Woad Farm Road, Boston. At Boston, was in charge of a motor vehicle on Red Lion Street, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 126 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit 35); at Boston, had without good reason or lawful authority, in Red Lion Street, a locknife. Community order made to include 100 hours’ unpaid work, disqualified from driving for six months, £85 victim surcharge, £300 costs, knife to be forfeited and destroyed.

Ramunas Jocys, 48, of Carlton Road, Boston. At Fydell Street, Boston, drove after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 69 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit 35). £250 fine, £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 19 months.

Assault

Mimdaugas Damanskis, 23, of Castle Street, Boston. At Boston, assaulted another thereby occassioning them actual bodily harm. Community order made, to include 100 hours’ unpaid work, £100 compensation, £85 victim surcharge, £85 costs.

Edvinas Svdiridenko, 20, of Norfolk Street, Boston. At Boston, assaulted another, thereby occassioning them actual bodily harm. Community order made to include 100 hours’ unpaid work, £100 compensation, £85 victim surcharge, £85 costs.

Breach of order

Maciek Grzelak, 22, of Witham Bank, Boston. Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order made by Boston Magistrates’ Court by failing to attend unpaid work appointments, failing to provide an acceptable explanation to cover the absence and failing to maintain contact with offender manager. Suspended sentence imposed for the offence of assaulting two Pcs varied to include 20 hours’ unpaid work added for the breach (100 hours total), original requrement of rehabilitation activity to continue.

Motoring

Scott Craig Butler, 29, of Witham Town, Boston. At Boston, used on the A16, a vehicle which was not fitted with such mirror or mirrors as required by regulations in that the nearside wing mirror had no reflective glass inside the mirror casing. £100 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs.

Outraging public decency

David Broughton, 62, of Burrows Close, Boston. At Boston, in a public place committed an act outraging public decency by behaving in an indecent manner, namely walking around showing his genitals. Community order made, to include rehabilitation activity for up to a maximum 15 days, £85 victim surcharge.
