Here’s a rundown of the latest cases brought before Boston Magistrates’ Court:

Motoring

Aivakas Saulys, age not specified, of Woodthorpe Avenue, Boston. At Woodthorpe Avenue, being the registered keeper of a vehicle, failed to deliver to the Secretary of State that part of the registration document containing the required particulars relating to the notification of transer of the vehicle to a person who was not a vehicle trader. £200 fine, £20 victim surcharge. £90.

Christopher Michael Smith, 20, Wellington Road, Boston. At Wellington Road, being the registered keeper of a vehicle, failed to deliver to the Secretary of State that part of the registration document containing the required particulars relating to the notification of transer of the vehicle to a person who was not a vehicle trader. £200 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £90 costs.

Michael Steventon, age not specified, Church Green Close, Fishtoft. At Church Green, being the registered keeper of a vehicle, failed to deliver to the Secretary of State that part of the registration document containing the required particulars relating to the notification of transer of the vehicle to a person who was not a vehicle trader. £140 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £90 costs.

Svetlana Vodcica, age not specified, of Castle Square Boston. At Boston, were the responsible person in whose name a vehicle was registered under the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994, when it did not meet the insurance requirements of section 133A of the Road Traffic Act 1988. £200 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £110 costs.

Andrius Petkevicius, 29, of Kingsway, Boston. At Hobhole Bank, Old Leake, Boston, drove without a licence. £100 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, licence endorsed wit three points.

Lorraine Crofts, 41, of Hardwick Estate, Kirton. At Nettleham, having been required by or on behalf of the Chief of Police for Lincolnshire, failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle. £600 fine, £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, licence endorsed with six points.

Leonard Duke, 80, of Church Close, Wrangle. Speeding on the A52 Wainfleet Tofts, at Wainfleet St Mary. £70 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £40 costs, licence endorsed with three points.

Failure to comply

Nicky Andrew Walden, 27, Mayflower Road, Boston. Failed without reasonable to excuse to comply with the requirments of a community order made by East Lincolnshire Magistrates’ Court by failing to attend unpaid work, failing to provide an acceptable explanation and failing to maintain contact with offender manager. Order to continue, varied to add 10 hours for the breach.

Drink Driving

Paulius Mozuraitis, 25, of Witham Place, Boston. At Boston, drove on Queen Street, after consuming so much alcohol the proportion of it in breath equalled 100 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit 35). £400 fine, £40 victim surcharge, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 20 months.

Absconder

Darren Whitehead, 50, of No fixed abode. At Boston, having been temporarily released from North Sea Camp, Croppers Lane, Freiston, without reasonable excuse, remained unlawfully at large after the expiry of the period for which you had been released. Committed to prison for two months.

Assault

Alfred James Whiteman, 37, of Botolph Street, Boston. Twice committed assault by beating, and without lawful excuse destroyed the windscreen of a Vauxhall Astra to an unknown value. Community order made including participating in building better relationships for 24 days and supervision requirements, restraining order made, £60 victim surcharge, £80 costs, £100 compensation.

Drugs

Jacqueline Papworth, 48, of Deldale Road, Wyberton. At Boston had possession of 5.6 grams of amphetamine. £60 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, drugs to be forfeited and destroyed.

Theft

Arturs Kurdanins, 26, of Rose Place, Boston. In Boston stole a case of beer to the value of £4.99 belonging to B&M Stores. £20 fine, £20 victime surcharge, £85 costs. Failed to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Boston Magistrates’ Court in that he breached a prohibited activity requirement which specified he wasn’t to enter any retail store other than Asda and Aldi. Order to continue with an added three months for breach.

Sexual offences

Martin Terence McCullion, 60, of Parthian Avenue, Wyberton. Failure to comply with notification requirements of a sexual offences order. £100 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £80 costs.
