Here’s the latest rundown of cases before the courts in Boston...

Motoring

John Thornley, 65, of Ings Lane, West Ashby. Speeding at New York, Wildmore. £70 fine, £20 victim surcharge, disqualified from driving for 60 days.

Sergejs Darokckihs, 35, Reams Close, Fishtoft. At Eastwood Road, Boston, drove without insurance, failed to provide a specimen, drove while disqualified. £80 victim surcharge, £85 costs, committed to prison for three months suspended for 24 months, disqualified from driving for four years, committed to prison for two months consecutive to offence suspended for 24 months, curfew requirement to stay at home address for six months.

Raymond Brown, 60, of Church Road, Boston. On John Adams Way, Boston, drove without a licence, drove without insurance. £150 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £150 costs, disqualified from driving for six months.

Harassment

Goran Ali Qurbani, 28, of Chaucer Road, New England, Peterborough. At Boston, pursued a course of conduct which amounted to harassment, had with you, without good reason or lawful authority in Wide Bargate, a folding pocket knife which had a blade the edge of which exceeded 7.62 centimetres. Community order made including 200 hours’ unpaid work, restraining order also made, £60 victim surcharge, £10 costs, knife to be forfeited and destroyed.

Drugs

Scott Stanley Jobson, 35, of Freiston Road, Boston. Had possession of 3.2 grams of diamorphine. 18 month conditional discharge, £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, diamorphine to be forfeited and destroyed.

Robercy De Souza, 31, of Friars Gate, Boston. At West Street had possession of a quantity of cannabis, failed to surrender to custody at Boston Magistrates’ Court having been released on police bail. £50 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, drugs to be forfeited and destroyed.

Drink driving

Kalvis Laksevics, 30, of the Old Dairy, Boston. Drove on Nelson Way after consuming so much alcohol the proportion in breath equalled 56 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit 35). £110 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 13 months.

Jiri Lelek, 54, of Ingram Road, Boston. At Boston drove after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 86 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit 35). £110 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 20 months.

Vadims Petrovcis, 27, Witham Bank West, Boston. At Boston, drove on Queen Street after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath equalled 59 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit 35). £110 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 14 months.

Saulius Dauknys, 54, Norfolk Street, Boston. Drove on London Road, Boston, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath equalled 52 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit 35). £250 fine, £25 victim surcharge, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 13 months.

Alcohol

Darius Liaukus, 22, of St Thomas Road, Spalding. At Boston failed to provide a specimen or specimens of breath for analysis, failed without reasonable excuse to surrender to custody at Boston Magistrates’ Court. £150 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 12 months, £50 fine. At Park Road, Spalding, without lawful excuse damaged a door frame. £66 fine.

Assault

Mariusz Zablocki, 34, of High Street, Boston. At West Street, Boston, commited assault by beating, without lawful excuse damaged a mobile phone to the value of £100. £250 fine, £25 victim 
surcharge, £85 costs.

Failure to comply

Fredis Kleins, 21, of Haven Meadows, Boston. Failed to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order made by Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court by failing to attend unpaid work on two days and failing to provide an acceptable explanation to cover the absences, oiginal offences of assault by beating at Derby and at Derby having posession of an offensive weapon. No adjudication on breach, dealt with for original offences, suspended sentence of 18 weeks suspended for 18 months implemented as a sentence of 14 weeks.

Theft

William Brendon Smith, 24, of Middlegate Road, Frampton. At Woodhall Close, Boston, stole £3117.40. Comitted to prison for four months.
