A man accused of breaching a sexual offences prevention order has been sent to appear at Lincoln Crown Court.

Robert Orton, 45, of Middlecott Close, Boston, was arrested at Boston Library on Monday, and appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday charged with possession of a number of photographs of children under 18, which he was prohibited from doing by a sexual offences order.

Orton made no plea at the time, and magistrates decided to send the case to crown court on November 26.

Orton was refused bail.
