Four youths arrested in connection with mugging in Boston

FOUR youths have been arrested in suspicion of robbery after a teenager was attacked by a group who stole his phone.

The mugging took place in Freiston Road in Boston in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A 19 year-old man from Wrangle was walking along the road from Elizabeth Road between 2.30am and 3am, when he was attacked by a group who kicked and punched him and stole his mobile phone.

The teenager needed hospital treatment for a head wound.

Four local youths, aged 15, 16, 17 and 18, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on bail until August 22.

Anyone with information about the attack should call police on 101 quoting incident 78 of June 16.
