‘Gun threat’ at bookmakers

A MAN allegedly threatened to pull out a gun at a Boston betting shop on Monday.
Police said they were called to Coral Bookmakers, in the Market Place, after a man entered the premises and started threatening staff at about 7.45pm.
He assaulted a customer and then threatened to ‘get out a gun’, before exiting the shop, said the police spokesman.
A 43-year-old Boston man was arrested and searched.
No evidence of a gun was found on the man.
He was taken to Spalding Police Station and later released after being cautioned for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
