Laughing gas stolen from Pilgrim Hospital

POLICE were not laughing after five nitrous oxide cylinders were stolen from a chemical store at Pilgrim Hospital.

The offenders forced entry to the store between 11.30pm on and 12.20am on Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

The cylinders that are approx 5ft tall and each weigh 60kgs.

Laughing gas, as it is known, is used by doctors as a pain relief, but can be potentially harmful if used as a recreational drug.
