A night of drinking has left a man facing a driving ban, as he was still over the limit when he got behind the wheel the next day.
Sergej Kucenko, 34, of Fydell Street, Boston, was found to have an reading of 73 mirogrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on February 28, following a three-car collision. The legal limit is 35.
He admitted the offence at Boston Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
Mark Hudson, defending, said he had been drinking until 4am and had not eaten anything before driving.
He was banned for 20 months and told to pay £240 fine, £24 surcharge and £85 costs.
