A man claimed he failed to comply with a sexual offenders register requirement because he was distracted by his private life.
At the town’s magistrates’ court on Wednesday Zak Luciano Holland, 27, of Witham Town, Boston, admitted to failing to notify police within three days of leaving prison and failing to comply with periodic notification.
In defence Carrie Simson said he had forgotten because he had started a new job and his girlfriend was pregnant and depressed.
She added he was annoyed with himself but had completed four out of five years of the requirement.
Holland is due to be sentenced on October 18.
