May Fair bad behaviour won’t be tolerated

COUNCIL bosses have warned that they will not tolerate anti-social behaviour when the May Fair is in town from Thursday.

The fair will be in town from Thursday, May 3, to Saturday, May 12, and police and Boston Borough Council’s community safety team have promised to take action to deal with trouble, especially incidents involving drinking.

Boston Borough Council principal community safety officer, Peter Hunn, said: “We don’t want to be spoilsports, but we will do all we can to ensure the May Fair remains an event all ages can enjoy.

“No one, especially families with young children, should be intimidated, or fearful, of bad behaviour, especially at a fun event such as this.”
