MURDER TRIAL LATEST: Jury to visit Boston
The scene of the alleged murder.
The jury in the trial of Stephen Sleaford are to visit Boston tomorrow (Wednesday).
Mr Sleaford is accused of murdering Janusz Smoderek on September 2011,
The jury will visit the scene in Sleaford Road, where Mr Smoderek’s body was found.
The visit will require the closure of Sleaford Road, from the Fitness First junction, up to the junction with Brothertoft Road, plus a small part of Carlton Road.
Lincolnshire Police said the road closures are expected to be in place from 11am-1pm, on an intermittent basis, but the public will be kept up to date via local radio stations, media outlets and social media on the day.
Mr Sleaford denies the charge of murder. The trial continues.
