THE murder trial for Boston man Stephen Sleaford has been delayed until at least January.
The case was due to be heard this week, but Lincoln Crown Court is now arranging a more suitable date for the witnesses and legal representatives to attend.
Mr Sleaford denies murdering Polish father-of-three Janusz Smoderek who was found stabbed in a garden in Sleaford Road, Boston.
The incident happened a year ago today, on September 11, 2011.
Sleaford, 37, of no fixed address, was charged with Mr Smoderek’s murder after being arrested in the Barnsley area.
Mr Smoderek, 48, lived in the Revesby Avenue area of Boston and worked at a local vegetable packing firm.
