The application for a fourth off-licence premises in Kirton has been refused following a large number of objections by members of the public.
The decision was taken to refuse a licence to sell alcohol at International Food and Drink, situated at 13, Boston Road, following issues about public safety and concerns over the applicant’s ability to uphold the licensing objectives.
The premises, at 13, Boston Road, is on a busy road with double yellow lines and situated near a blind corner.
About 25 members of the public attended the licensing hearing at Boston Borough Council today to express their objections to the application.
