POLICE cadets from Boston have been forging links with their big city counterparts in a trip to the New Forest.
Cadets joined Hackney Volunteer Police Cadets at a site near Lyndhurst for activities such as sailing, raft building and even a hike through the forest.
It was part of a scheme to set up a link between the Lincolnshire group and an inner city cadet group.
Sergeant Mick Cordwell, from Boston Police Station, said: “Our cadets had a fantastic opportunity to participate in team-building exercises with our colleagues from Hackney, who were excellent hosts and made us all feel very welcome. This relationship will benefit both cadet groups enormously.”
