A mix-up over charity bags resulted in one charity being blocked into a Boston road and police called out yesterday (Thursday).

The incident happened yesterday on Roseberry Avenue, just before 8am when legitimate bag collectors picked up bags for a different charity by accident.

A police spokesman said no arrests were made as it was just a mistunderstanding.

They said the charity was blocked in by someone but could not state which charity they worked for. It is understood it may have been British Heart Foundation.

The two who were blocked in work for a company in Wales who handle collections for various charities and there’s mention of a Leukaemia bag but not sure what else.
