POLICE have today revealed the name of the man who died in a crash at Swineshead Bridge last Friday.
Sean Andrew Flowers, 45, of New Balderton near Newark, died as the result of a four vehicle crash on the A17 at about 1.50pm.
The man had been driving a white Vauxhall Combo van. The other vehicles involved were a black Fiat Doblo, a heavy goods vehicle and a red Honda Civic.
The HGV driver, a 51-year-old Lincoln man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has since been released on police bail until June 14.
The driver of the Doblo was a 25-year-old woman from Pontefract and the Civic driver was a 63- year-old Boston man.
They went to the Pilgrim Hospital but are not believed to have been seriously injured.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who were driving along the A17 on Friday afternoon and who have any information about the collision to call 01522 558855.
