A woman faces a charge of possession of drugs after police seized her car late on Tuesday night.

Officers discovered a blue Peugeot 106 in Jenny’s Wood Car Park in Wyberton at about 11pm with the key in the ignition and the door open.

The car was suspected to be running on red dieel and was seized on behalf of Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs.

The owner returned to the car while it was being seized and was arrested in relation to a matter of possession of drugs.
