Thieves targeted Boston homes
A SPATE of burglaries in Boston have seen thieves taking electrical items and money from homes in the area.
Mobile phones, televisions and laptops are among the items which have been stolen from homes.
Police are now appealing for information about the incidents.
The first took place at around 7pm on January 30 at a home in Oxford Street.
The thief got into the house through an insecure front door and took a Blackberry, an iPhone and a purse containing cash and cards. They tried to remove the television, but they were disturbed. The suspect ran off towards the river bank with a second man who had been waiting outside. One of the men was wearing a grey hoody and tracksuit bottoms and a short black coat. The other was wearing an orange jacket.
In the early hours of February 1, thieves broke into a house on St Nicholas Road through a window and stole a television, a computer, a mobile phone and some cigarettes while the occupant was asleep upstairs.
On the same day, a thief got into a house on Fydell Street through an insecure door and stole a PSP and a laptop.
