Three men have been arrested following a serious assault in the Folly Pub, Boston.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 29-year-old man was assaulted in the Folly Pub, Market Place, Boston just before midnight on Saturday 11 June.

Three local men, aged 29, 31 and 47 years have been arrested for offences in connection with the assault and released on bail. The victim has sustained injuries which are described as serious head injuries, and is receiving treatment at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham. His condition is described as critical but stable.

Detective Inspector Simon Bromiley said: “The investigation is on-going and early arrests have been made but we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault at the Folly or can offer any other useful information.”
