Organisers of this year’s Armed Forces Day on June 29 are looking for two heroes from Boston.

The Royal British Legion is looking for an armed forces hero who does as much as they can to be proactive in reprsenting the nation’s troops.

This can include a serving member who does great community work or member of the public who goes out of their way to support the forces or veteran community.

They are also looking for a forces family hero - anybody who as a family member or friend of serving personnel or veterans has gone out of their way to support their community.

This could also be anybody who offers support, care and advice to the families of the armed forces.

Nominations along with contact details for nominee and nominator and reasons for nomination should be sent to The Royal British Legion, 29 Whittle Close, Boston, Lincs PE21 7SD or e-mailed to alison.lynch@tesco.net
