Threats made to a woman and her partner have ended in two men being arrested this morning (Friday).

A police spokesman said officers attended the centre of Boston just after 9am, following the allegations of ‘threats’ being made to the woman and her partner.

A 20-year-old man and a 15-year-old male, have been arrested on suspicion of blackmail and will be taken to Boston Police Station for questioning.

The spokesman said no-one is reported to have been injured.

The Standard understands the incident involved threats to kill, however this is unconfirmed.

Further reports suggest one of the people who was seen in the incident was also spotted threatening to jump into a town river earlier today.

Any witnesses, or anyone with information should call 101 with incident number 103 of May 30.
